We were staying at the Crowne Plaza Dockland and wanted to get away from the hotel bar/pub to a local pub. Streeties was our place. A great atmosphere of a east London pub! We went several times during our stay and had great conversations with others at the bar (Danny was awesome to talk to).

One might be concerned about the walk or the neighborhood but the taxi ride is 5 pounds...worth the trip.

I enjoyed the John Smith Ale (see picture above)....this is a real London pub, not like those in the restaurants and hotels near the Excel Center.....also and equally important...the prices are very, very good.

This is a great local pub. Fun place. There is a pool table and lots of regulars. Good cold beer!

This place was great. Outstanding commentary and conversation from the folks there and a fine few glasses of beer. Most memorable! Don't expect decor and gastro atmosphere, but this is about as authentic as it gets. Feels like the front line of resistance to the gentrification of the Docklands....
